Are you having an issue getting rid of smoke odors in your home? It not as hard to do or as expensive as you might think if you have the tools and instructions to do the job right.Take it from someone that knows a thing or two about smoke odor removal. It is one of the most common odors other than cat and dog urine in households across the world. You need to treat the entire house to knock out the smoke odor and turn your home into an odor free environment. There is no other way around it. Cleaning the carpets, upholstery and furniture is just the beginning if you wanna do it right. Note: These techniques will work for your vehicles too.
Before you begin though you need the most important tool for the job, and that is a powerful odor eliminator. Now, please don’t mistake an odor eliminator for an air freshener, deodorizer or cover up spray. I mean the smell of sweet daisies, summer rain and strawberries may be nice for 30 minutes or so but once its gone its gone and then you have that annoying smoke odor to deal with again. If you want to get rid of the smoke odor do it right the first time, no sense in wasting your money on products that aren’t made to eliminate odors rather they are just made to smell nice for a few minutes.
A true odor eliminator will turn your smoking home into a non-smoking home permanently and the residual effects will keep the odor from returning. The only way you ever smell that smoke smell again is if the odor is reintroduced to the area. Once a true odor eliminator makes contact with the source of the odor it is completely eliminated. But, just clearing the air won’t get rid of the smell. You need the odor eliminator to get into the fabric of the furniture (even Leather), upholstery and the fibers of your carpet to get rid of the smell. You can do this by brushing the formula into the fabric. If the odor is severe, adding it to a carpet extractor or upholstery cleaner with the hand tool will allow it to penetrate deep into the fibers of the material. After you are finished treating the carpet, upholstery, and furniture in the area then it is time to treat the air in the entire house. I get into all of these techniques in my Complete Odor Elimination Guide which can be downloaded here.
It’s always good to have the right tools for the job before you begin. It not only saves you time, but money. And, In the end you get the results you were looking for. Starting today you can Knock Out Smoke Odors completely and permanently.
