sweat, along with the natural elements your footwear can really get a very strong funky odor that makes you lock them out of the house at night. These odors can be very overwhelming especially in the summer months because of the warm weather and not wearing socks. Your feet sweat and then you have all of the dirt and debris that you walk through on a daily basis outside. You also have odor problems in athletic footwear like cleats and hockey skates. If you are a hockey mom you know how bad that equipment can smell, right? You can spray as much air freshener or deodorizer on and in your footwear as you want but that is not going to solve your odor problem.
