To start out and dispel any preconceived opinions, KO Odor Eliminator is not an air freshener or deodorizer to cover up odors, It is an actual odorless odor eliminator.

The KO Odor Eliminator formula is designed to eliminate odors on contact at their source. The key words to remember here is ‘On Contact’. You can’t just simply spray the formula into the air and expect the odor to be eliminated because the air is not the odor source it’s the carrier bringing the odor from the source. {That is why products such as febreze, oust and many of the other popular TV brands are so ineffective, they are only cover up sprays and not an actual odor eliminator. You will notice that they all have a fragrance so it smells nice.) You need to locate the odor source and then treat it with KO Odor Eliminator.

KO Odor Eliminator as a degreaser can be used on any greasy or grimy odor problems like:

The purpose is to breakdown the greasy substance allowing KO Odor Eliminator to eliminate odor at the source. Instructions:

Mop bucket – 10-16 ounces of KO Odor Eliminator for each gallon of mopping solution.

Carpet and Upholstery Cleaning: Using a carpet extractor on floors and upholstery is the most effective method for deep odor elimination.

Rug Doctor/ Carpet Extractors: Follow the normal mixing ratio on the Extractors tank instructions. Pre-spray the carpet/upholstered area with KO Odor Eliminator and then clean areas like normal. For deeply embedded odors about 6 ounces should be added to the solution tank each time it’s refilled. TIP: You can pre-treat your traffic areas and spot and stain areas with KO Pet Spot and Stain Remover or KO Spot and Stan Remover.

Wet-Dry Vac/ShopVac: While using a ShopVac for extracting, add 8-10 oz. of KO Odor Eliminator to each gallon of soap solution within the tank.

Laundry: KO Odor Eliminator can be added to laundry to eliminate odors in clothing, shop rags, sports equipment, etc.  NOTE: Experimentation is suggested since all wash machine sizes are different. General recommended amount is 2-4 oz. per load with normal laundry soap. Tip: You can pre-treat your and spots and stains with KO Pet Spot and Stain Remover or KO Spot and Stan Remover or you can add a cup of solution to your normal wash cycle for brighter white and colors.
